Men’s 5s returned to Hampstead Hall on a very wet day. The early stages of the game saw a well organised and experienced Barford team pin us in their own half but as the game progressed we opened up chances. Chances came our way and equally Barford may feel disappointed not to score but this was a (mostly) friendly encounter and a fair result from a good day away. A strong debut from George Edwards and solid goalkeeping from Jon Crooks returning to 5s in goals. The three U18s (Tom, Charlie and Oliver) continue to develop into excellent senior players. At the time of writing Jon Crooks (4) leads Tom (2) on our new socially distanced MotM vote while Steve Smedley leads the DoD vote.
