Bournville took the lead almost from PB but as the game settled Harborne again but together some good attacking moves and some strong defending and took the game to a 2-1 lead with two excellent goals from Steve Smedley and George Edwards. Bournville found an equaliser to make a fair result overall and a well played game. Thanks to Olly Kendrick and Floudy for officiating. MoM Jon Crooks for a series of saves and well thought kicks out. DoD Toby who nevertheless was the latest junior to come through with a very mature and strong technical performance. No doubt another talented player starting their senior career. Appreciation also to those who were rotated this week as M5s employ a Mourinho style rotation to blend experience and youth to maximise the wide range of talent no available. The analogy may not apply to myself as I prefer to compared to Ancelotti ?. Well done all. It’s great to be enjoying our hockey and competitive in a strong league.
