On a bitterly cold afternoon the ladies 4s were ready to face Stourport and were more confident than ever following their win from last week...Harborne started fairly strong and it wasn’t long until we were 1-0 up, Stourport pushed back and scored an amazing goal leveling it at 1-1, this made Harborne more determined and soon it was 2-1 going into half time. A brilliant team talk was given by Turd and assistant coach James Plant at half time giving us ladies the motivation and plan we needed. It wasn’t long into the second half that the goals kept on coming, 3-1, but then Stourport brought it back to 3-3. Harborne kept chasing and working hard, and with minutes to spare Harborne scored the winning goal. Goals from Linzi, Annie, Zoe and Jet. Big thanks to Turd for coaching, Christine for umpiring a wonderful match and all sideline supporters. It’s away to Tenbury next week and maybe another 3 points to bring home. ???
